Curling Ice Rentals
Host a Curling Event for Your Group
Need a unique and fun event for your group?
Spend an afternoon or evening with the Bowling Green Curling Club. An
experienced instructor will teach your group how to curl, and then your group's
teams will compete with each other in a full game of curling!
The BGSU Curling Ice is available for rent by
non-member groups. Many different groups enjoy an evening or afternoon curling.
Examples include churches, businesses, social clubs, neighborhood associations,
family reunions and more.
The Bowling Green Curling Club is located at the
BGSU Ice Arena on Mercer Road in Bowling Green, OH. The facility consists of
two facilities: The Curling Ice and The Lounge. Your group can rent just the
Curling Ice or can pay an additional fee to have access to the Lounge.
ICE/LOUNGE RENTAL: The Curling Ice and Lounge (if desired)
for your group outing must by rented directly from the BGSU Ice Arena. For

INSTRUCTION RATES: The rate for group curling instruction is
only $9 per person. This includes two hours of instruction by Bowling Green
Curling Club instructors. Payment may be made in cash or check. The Club does
not accept credit cards.
GROUP SIZE: The Club can accommodate a maximum of 32 players.
AGE: 18 years or older (12 - 17 year olds can participate if accompanied by a
parent or legal guardian).
RENTAL TIMES: The Curling Ice is generally available for rental on most
Saturday afternoons and evenings, most Friday nights, and most weekday
afternoons.
Groups should arrive at least 10-15 minutes prior to ice time for preparation
and off-ice instruction. Ice time per event is 2 hours.
WHAT TO WEAR: Loose fitting clothing (i.e., jogging pants), short jacket, hat,
gloves, CLEAN tennis shoes (Please carry in the shoes you will be wearing on
the ice). The arena temperature is usually around 40 degrees.
